After driving 7 hours from New Jersey to Hamilton as a stop for Toronto, I had a completely flat tire and somehow found paper jammed between the brake disk and pad. I called up several mechanics in town and no one wanted to even take a look because it was 4:15p Friday. Lucky that this mechanic shop agreed to take a look. Even more surprise was that they charged a low price of CAD39.95 for removing the jammed paper and solving the problem. They saved our day. I really thanked their help.

This is by far the best mechanic I've been too! As a woman it's also important that I don't feel like he's pushing for things I don't need and treats me with respect!! 100% would send friends and family there!

CAA towed my broken down 2016 Elantra to this garage one cold night in January. They fixed the problem that very day and I have been going to them ever since for all my service needs. Honest, reliable, efficient and pleasant to deal with.

Yusef and Joe are reliable mechanics and they have been very helpful to my car needs. It would be convenient if that location was able to do alignment work, but l understand

Very nice people!! From the desk to the mechanics, they are all nice. The mechanic was so honest with the price, and he ordered and replaced my starter in a couple hours.

This place has been so good to me over the years. I recently came in because my car was making a loud humming noise, and wasn't as powerful when accelerating. The guys in the shop told me that my catalytic converter was locked... and that it would cost me around $1000 to repair... BUT the technician Joe told gave me a solution that only costed me aroundd $60, and my car is surprisingly good as new! These guys have always been so honest with me and I really appreciate that. So if you want a place that will keep it right to the point, this is the one for you :)

My 2008 Toyota RAV4 broke down and was beyond my knowledge for fixing it. I had it towed through CAA since this was a CAA approved shop. They were able to fix it by the next day as they had other vehicles ahead of me to work on. When I got my SUV back I drove it a bit shopping and it broke down again. The next day when the shop was open again I brought it in and got it fixed no charge as it was only a small issue. I found the receptionist kind and understanding and Yousef was great to show me how they fixed the issue. I still don’t understand what happened but my dad does (he’s in BC so can’t help too much other than give me advice how to proceed) and he approved their solution. I will definitely use their shop again if my Betsy needs repair.

I've been a customer at Reliance Auto Mechanic on Cannon St. In Hamilton for about 5 years. I drive a 2011 Honda Fit with lots of km. on it. I have had good experiences with every visit. Joe, who runs the garage and is the senior mechanic is, in my opinion, a totally excellent mechanic, totally honest, a really good communicator, a man of his word, and occasionally has gone out of his way to meet my time needs,. Etc. My 5 star rating of Reliance reflects my very excellent experiences there. I have no personal or business connection with Reliance other than getting my car serviced. I go there because it's near my home..

Great service, super friendly staff! I also like how they always use OEM parts, especially considering how well they price their services. I will definitely be coming back here

I had a dealership estimate of $2,000.00 for replacement of front and rear rotors and pads plus brake fluid exchange.
Joe examined the brakes, and said I only needed rear pads and rotors with caliper service. This service was less than a quarter of what dealership was going to charge. Great service. Work done quickly while I waited.

I can not say enough good things about Reliance Auto. I recently moved to the area and had an emergency with my CR-V. I was able to get my car towed directly there and they were able to give me a diagnosis that day even though it was late in the afternoon and work was completed by early the following day. The price was beyond fair and I am forever grateful.
